fridge poetry

I was sitting at my friends the other day and discovered... fridge poetry! She had this set of magnetic poetry, and as we were making supper, we had a little fun making poetry...it was such a special moment, our creative juices were flowing...so the other day she comes by with a magnetic poetry set of my very own! I was very excited...what a true friend :) Here are some excerpts from her fridge and mine...
~
I will incubate my dreams in the shadows of a thousand winters
and ache for the storms of summer.
~
I feel the whisper of a languid wind blowing through a sun drunk forest.
~
Stop chaining me to death's sordid rusty butt!!!!!
(a particularly rough moment resisting the temptations within the fridge!)
~
I trudge the stormy road of winter and ache to see the sweet spring rains.
(winter can be oh so long)
~
this one is K's, and I hope she doesn't mind my sharing it...
I think love is about friends incubating dreams together
and telling whispers of thousands of visions.
~
your fiddle, it pleases eternity!
(another one of K's...her daughter is 11 and plays the fiddle beautifully!)
~
here are some of the kids ramblings...
his ship is black drool
(this one is C's...)
~
she can never like my hot red boiled head
another one of C's...we are putting money aside for therapy :)
~
swim after cooking not
anonymous..but wise
~
let's cry to live
(my J wrote this one and laughed his silly little head off...I had to keep it)

Oh, M, you should have seen J laugh until he just about had tears after his creation. I LOVE to hear kids laugh. Probably one of my most favourite sounds in the universe. I don't know why he found it so funny though...My current favourite is the rusty butt one. arghh.
