P and I got back today from our awesome weekend away. It's always nice to get away and then look forward to getting back and being with the kids again. The weather was great! We did a few geocaches and as we were tromping through the bush in search of the cache, we came upon a deer that was bedded down. She didn't move, just watched as we made our way around her. Very serene. On our way back, she was still there, so we took some pics, then she got up and started to graze, so we took a video. I can't post it here, I don't know how to - or even if I can- post it, so I'll post a pic instead, not nearly as exciting, but oh well :)

What great weather you had for your weekend away! We tried to call you to get together, and when I finally learned you were gone, I must admit I was a little jealous. I so need a weekend away, only I can't decide between: by myself, with hubby, or with hubby & kids - they all need some fun, family time too. I'd be happy with all three choices. I'm glad for you, though, that you had some relaxing time away!
