Isn't this big beautiful guy awesome gor-GE-ous? I Love him. I can't afford him, but I love him. You know, the other day I was reading some horse ads, and was thinking, if a person didn't know that it was horses being advertised, those ads could sound downright trashy! "Big and Beautiful" "will do anything for you" "nice, big hips" "leggy" "sleek" "great mover" and on and on! Horse people are definitely a "breed" of their own...one that I happily will admit to being a part of :) Speaking of horses, we are looking for another horse to compliment our little herd...little being two. I personally love Peaches, hate the name...love the horse. She and I have a connection, I think. We have both birthed little devils, so there you go. (Taz is still nursing, and I know that we need to wean her off Peaches already, but good grief mama! Can't peaches do that on her own...I mean how long will she let Taz nurse? It's seven months and Taz is getting pretty darn big, she has to do some pretty fancy manouvering to get down there. I'd be kicking her off already. ) So Peaches will be the adult horse, and now we need a "broke to death" kids horse. Super J is on the lookout for us...and we are looking around constantly, so between us I'm sure we can find something by spring. I really want this big guy, but he's a ranch horse gelding, great mover and a great ride, apparently. As I said, trashy. anyhoo, he's too much horse for this little gal, so we will look and salivate, but put our money on something a little more relaxed. I do love dark grey horses, though. Once the weather warms up and I can take a picture without my digital camera freezing, I will get some current ones of the "herd" and post them. Until then, the search goes on...

Oh The right horse will come along, and then you'll know it! I can't wait to start looking at them! Thanks for including us! BTW-love the big ass horse! Gorgeous! Maybe you and I need to start up team roping???? :)
What's up with Peaches? Is she planning to breastfeed til Taz is 3?!?!?! It's obvisously working for both of them. How will you go about weening Taz? Good luck with buying a new horse for your herd - the right one will come along for you guys!
Are you feeling better? Did you get yourself to the walk-in?
