There's more to come, but I need to run downstairs, check the fridge and either memorize it or write it down and right now we're off to see the neighbour's puppies. They have a black lab that just had EIGHT puppies! And now I am soooooooo much more impatient for our horse to pop! All around us new life is springing up and out, and our horse is placidly munching her hay...I even gave her a very relaxing body massage in hopes of speeding things up. But NOTHING...except sore hands. I think the body massage was a first for her. She kept looking around, as if to say "do you know what you're doing? And by the way, what are you doing?" I do think we bonded. I'd better be her favourite. Maybe I should give her some wine. hmmmm. I'll have to run that one past my dh. Can foals have fetal alchohol syndrome?

I just lost my response and have to start again - urgggg. I love the quote that I think M & A created on your fridge!!! Where can I get a set of fridge words? Next time I am over, I can maybe create a quote!!
Can I be there when your foal is being born? Perhaps it is too disturbing to have an audience. It would be facinating to see, I have never seen a birth of a foal. I have seen a calf being born - yeah not pretty, chains and things were needed to assist. That was years ago. Anyway, this last part was not in my first response. Should I leave it or delete this last part. Too bad, I will leave it here for ALL to read.

Great idea the massage thing, perhaps you should try that herb that helped you? :)
Can I come too to watch the foal? Most likely it will be born in the night when nobody is around...doesn't that always happen? Does my camper fit it your back yard? :)
If we actually get to witness the birth, and we have time, I will most definitely call you guys! I certainly hope there's not chains needed :) I was thinking of slippin' her that herb...great minds think alike! I'm not sure if that would work on a horse, or how much she would need!!!!! and bev...my fridge is your fridge...quote away!!
