Hey...apparently it's just that easy! I have now started my own blog, for which intents and purposes I'm not sure yet...as the spirit leads I suppose. Perhaps I should have waited until I wasn't so terribly exhausted and had more mental energy to put into this first one, but nonetheless...here I am. I suppose I could start by trying to explain my title, not that any explanation would make a whole lot of sense ...
As a sat trying to come up with a title, this one popped into my head. My thinking, as I set up this blog, was that I'd like to put some of my poetry on it. Mostly fridge poetry - which by the way is strangely addictive. My husband groans whenever he sees me pause in front of the fridge and start to slide a few words around. Suddenly 1/2 an hour has passed - it's worse than play station in that regard - but FAR more intellecutually stimulating! but I digress.
As I was thinking about poetry, I started thinking about things that I wish, and the thought drifted through my mind that I do really wish that faeries were real! And then I thought about how faeries reminded me of fireflies...and one thought led to another and I remembered that my husband is of the firm opinion that Sasquatch, aka bigfoot, really does exist. And presto! There you have it - Faeries, fireflies and fearsome things!
So here I go, sprinkling my ideas and creative juices throughout cyberspace...
see you soon...

Love it WM! You make me laugh. Hey, you lover of country music and fireflies, have you heard the song, Fireflies? Faith Hill sings it but it's written by Lori McKenna (whose version I like more). It's my theme song right now. I think you would like it. It about faeries too. Oh, you would just LOVE it.
... by the way, I wish faeries were real too ...
no! I haven't heard that song! Do you have it on cd? I'll have to hunt it down and then we could both have the same theme song. Maybe I could cut my hair like yours, and then have a baby, and maybe start my own blog! Feeling like you're being stalked?! just kidding (for those who think maybe, just maybe, I'm serious) more on faeries...I saw a book on faeries in chapters the other day, and although I'm mostly sure the guys a quack...he almost had me believing. It was a very fun book to read and once I get a COFFEE TABLE (ahem - P!) I think I'll make that my coffee table book.
